Backend Developer with AI Focus

The Mission

As a Backend Developer, AI Integration, you will architect and build the scalable backend services that power our next-generation AI features. You’ll directly shape how our users leverage intelligent automation for video content, making this role pivotal to our product evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate AI tools like Rev.AI and Whisper for object recognition and transcription.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python and Go.

  • Develop high-performance RESTful APIs and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases.

  • Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring high availability of backend systems.

  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams, mentoring junior engineers.

  • Write clean, testable code and participate actively in code reviews.

Requirements

Show us you can build and scale complex systems.

  • 5+ years of backend development and system design experience.

  • Deep proficiency in Python (FastAPI or Flask experience a plus).

  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their documentation.

  • Experience with Git/GitHub and Agile methodologies.

  • Proven ability to integrate AI/ML tools into backend systems.

Bonus points

  • Experience with Go (Golang).

  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
