Senior Customer Success Manager

As our Sr. Customer Success Manager, France, you will be the strategic partner for our most important clients in the region. You'll ensure they achieve significant business outcomes and realize the full potential of our platform, driving retention, expansion, and shaping our product's evolution.
Responsibilities
Forge deep, trusted relationships with senior client leaders, positioning Backlight as an indispensable driver of their business goals.
Become the go-to expert on Backlight's solutions, guiding clients to optimal usage and uncovering new opportunities.
Own the renewal and expansion strategy for your portfolio, identifying and closing opportunities to drive new revenue.
Monitor client health and usage, translating data into actionable insights that accelerate adoption.
Champion client needs across internal teams, ensuring our roadmap and services directly support their success.
Advise clients on media technology trends, helping them navigate market shifts with Backlight.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who thrives on building strong client partnerships and driving tangible results.
8+ years of enterprise SaaS customer success or account management, specifically in content workflows, media asset management, or video lifecycle management.
Strong grasp of video formats, ingest, delivery, and distribution processes.
Native French fluency is essential for engaging effectively with our French client base.
Proven ability to translate complex client needs into measurable business outcomes.
Exceptional executive presence and skill to influence senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of complex, high-value accounts.
Experience supporting clients in broadcast, media, or streaming environments.
Bonus points
Experience working with global partners or resellers.
